Help NPA Stand Up To Political Intimidation
Help us stand up to political intimidation
The Federal Coalition is trying to silence those in the community they disagree with. Assistant Minister Ruston accused NPA of deliberate dishonesty in our campaign to end native forest logging in NSW. Interestingly, one of our branches received almost exactly the same letter from National Party Federal Member for Lyne, David Gillespie.
This is a clear, coordinated effort to silence those who oppose the Coalition’s attempts to roll over the RFAs and lock in another 20-years of logging. But it’s also clear evidence that our advocacy is working!
We know we’re on solid ground because we’ve done the hard detailed work to ensure our position is evidence-based. In fact, it was Senator Ruston who made unsubstantiated claims to support industry’s viewpoint.
